The neighbourhood is very popular among the residents of Amsterdam, partly because of the wide range of nice restaurants and cafes such as the famous Volkshotel, De Biertuin and of course Loetje for the best steak in Amsterdam. Every foodie can indulge at the Beukenplein with famous hotspots such as Bar Maxwell, the Rotisserie and Erik's Delicatessen.
Shop in one of the many local stores or at the famous Dapper Market. A large choice for the use of public transport, tram 1 and 3 have a stop literally around the corner, but also metro station Weesperplein and Wibautstraat are a 5-minute walk away. The Amsterdam Amstel train station is only one metro stop away. The house is easy to reach by car, the A1, A2 and A10 are very close by. A parking permit needs to requested at city hall.
